In Vickie's dancing sequence (act 1 opening), DANA SPARKS is — for some parts — replaced by a photo double, dancer KELLY O'FALLON.

Mistake: In the scene in the Agretti pool, the close-ups of Lance and Melissa are from various takes. This becomes apparent because his hair is very wet first, but quite dry in the next frame.
Again, this is the typical mistake caused by the particular close-up filming technique — check # 001 (Chase and Maggie at the Gioberti Family Cemetery) for details.

As for the filming site for the park where Angela and Meredith meet, refer to # 135.

The red Volvo 242 DL sedan (compare # 055 for details) — the very familiar prop — is parked near the park where Angela and Meredith meet. For a second appearance of this picture car, see below.

The black / beige Buick LeSabre, a picture car that has been known since # 013 (compare there for details), is parked on the street during Meredith and Angela's meeting at the park.

Cameraman's mistake: In the wide angle shot of the Gioberti House kitchen, the camera is pulled too far back from the set. For that reason, it becomes apparent the kitchen wall behind the cupboard is missing. The set has movable walls to accommodate any production requirements.

The filming location for the Del Oro tennis court where Richard is practicing (second screen grab) is actually a batting cage in Malibu Castle Park (nowadays Sherman Oaks Castle Park), an amusement park in Sherman Oaks, CA.
The preceding establishing shot of the pool and tennis courts, in contrast, is from the Silverado Country Club & Resort (compare # 130).

Product placement: Richard wears a Fila sports outfit.

DAVID GUST, the tall, black-haired and mustached uncredited extra, who is best known for his rôle as an assistant district attorney (# 091, 092 and 154), but who also plays different characters in the series, appears multiple times in this episode: first, in the hallway in front of Gioberti Enterprises. For his later appearances in this episode, see below.
Compare # 187 for a list of appearances throughout the series.
For details about the extra, compare # 063.

Fictional entity: Lakin Tanning Bed Company is the company Vickie is asked to work for by an employee by the name of George. Inside joke: The company is named after HOWARD LAKIN, this episode's writer.

Real-life allusion: Mrs. Whitaker mentions the royal family — obviously referring to England's WINDSORS.

Lance now drives a red 1978 Lamborghini Countach LP 400.

The New Globe elevator must be in the part of the building complex that is portrayed by the Matson Building (compare # 135) because — compared with the other parts of the complex — this is the only one with a matching number of floors. There are twelve buttons plus one button saying "P" (most likely for "penthouse") in the elevator. The real building has thirteen floors plus the tower, which might be accessible only through a stairway or a different elevator.

The Tuscany shopping arcade where Maggie meets Richard and Meredith is actually the V Marketplace stores and restaurant complex in Yountville, CA.

DAVID GUST, the tall, black-haired and mustached uncredited extra, who is best known for his rôle as an assistant district attorney (# 091, 092 and 154), but who also plays different characters in the series, appears a second time in this episode, now in the locker room of the Del Oro's men's steam room. For his earlier appearance in this episode and his later ones, see the note above and the notes below.
Compare # 187 for a list of appearances throughout the series.
For details about the extra, compare # 063.

The filming location for the steam room at the Del Oro is the steam room at the Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms in the City of Industry, CA in Greater L.A.

On the flatbed of the truck with Cole's boat, the truck company's phone number is legible: (408) 263-8723. It is the real phone number of the Alviso Boat company (compare # 135).

DAVID GUST, the tall, black-haired and mustached uncredited extra, who is best known for his rôle as an assistant district attorney (# 091, 092 and 154), but who also plays different characters in the series, appears a third time in this episode when he takes part in a meeting in Lance's New Globe office. For his earlier appearance and a later one in this episode, see the notes above and below.
Compare # 187 for a list of appearances throughout the series.
For details about the extra, compare # 063.

Migliavacca Mansion, a Victorian in Napa, CA, is shown as Karlotti's house for the first time.

The red Volvo 242 DL sedan (compare # 055 for details) — the very familiar prop — is parked in front of the entrance of the Tuscany Valley Medical Center again (see red mark). For an earlier appearance of this picture car in this episode, see above.

Uncredited extra SHARRI ZAK appears as the gray-haired Tuscany Valley socialite with the pony tail again; this episode in her day job outfit as a nurse (compare # 053) again, getting into the gray car in the foreground (yellow mark).
Compare # 202 for biographical details about this rôle and a list of appearances throughout the series.
For details about the extra, compare # 009.

The gray-haired socialite drives a gray Cadillac Seville.

Series time frame:
In # 135, Dr. Randall said — contrary to a previous estimation in # 131 — that Maggie's amniocentesis and the paternity test for her baby will be done in the 14th week of her pregnancy. That test is done in the current episode.
From the season chronology as stated above, it is known that Maggie was raped by Jeff on 05/06/1986. As she does not know if Jeff or Chase is her baby's father, she must have had sex with Chase shortly before the rape. Being in her 14th week now means it must be around the second week of August 1986.

The picture hanging in the hallway to the bedroom suite in Richard's home is the same prop that was hanging above the bed in the master suite of Richard's former home on Hilltop Road in season 4 (screen capture 1 from # 072). It remains a mystery how it survived the home's explosion.

Uncredited extra PAUL VAN appears in his usual rôle as the mustached Tuscany Valley doctor again — this time in the Del Oro lobby.
Compare # 227 for biographical details about this minor rôle and a list of all his appearances throughout the series.
For details about the extra, compare # 014.

Uncredited extra NICK STEVENS appears in this episode again as Reuben Corsair — this time in the Del Oro lobby.
Compare # 182 for biographical information about this minor rôle and a list of appearances throughout the series.
For details about the extra, compare # 008.

Compare # 207 for biographical details about this minor rôle and a list of appearances throughout the series.
For details about the extra, compare # 016.

Uncredited extra KEVIN G. TRACEY appears as the thick-eyebrowed Tuscany Valley gentleman again — now for the first time as one of the concierges at the Del Oro.
Compare # 185 for a list of all his appearances throughout the series.
For details about the extra, compare # 001.

DAVID GUST, the tall, black-haired and mustached uncredited extra, who is best known for his rôle as an assistant district attorney (# 091, 092 and 154), but who also plays different characters in the series, appears a fourth time in this episode when he takes part in a meeting in Richard's New Globe office. For his earlier appearances in this episode, see above.
Compare # 187 for a list of appearances throughout the series.
For details about the extra, compare # 063.

Early script drafts suggested a different order of the last two scenes, the cliffhanger originally being Cole's announcement to sail to Australia. In rewrites, it was decided that the original next to last scene — Maggie calling Dr. Randall to say she is going to keep the baby as an effect of Cole's decision — would make a better cliffhanger.
