Dear Mr. Pucher,
 
This letter is in response to your correspondence directly to Jane Wyman.
 
Please be aware that Ms. Wyman is truly touched by your admiration for her and "Falcon Crest". She appreciates being remembered by her fans. However, she is retired and has no intention of changing that status.
 
As for the scripts, since she is not a writer she feels any advice she gives may be misleading, so she chooses to give none.
 
She wishes you well and hopes you accomplish your desire, but without her.
